Greenwood Farms was established in 1980 by Gary & Cindy Greenwood. They began raising bottle calves, hogs, beef cows, and chickens. By 1990, they were going full speed with the dairy, but then drought hit and left the farm with no hay, grass, or grain prices that became too high to sustain. They then decided to sell most of our dairy cows, keeping only forty.
Throughout the years, however, they have expanded to a much larger range of animals from beef cows to hogs, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, even! They also have horses, mules, and a llama named Ben. Their purpose is to deliver the highest quality of free-range chicken and duck eggs, beef, pork, lamb, goat, and poultry products available. Greenwood Farms process all of its own meats and its USDA processing plant in Big Cabin, OK.
They are a great family with a wonderful story. We want to support them in their success. Currently, we offer almost all the items the Greenwoods family has to offer. Even homemade soups & pot pies! You will not be disappointed!
