Whether you’re looking for a signature drink for your next party or just want to elevate your evening, this Spiced Hot Honey Cranberry Mule hits all the holiday notes!

½ cup of water
1 cup hot honey
½ teaspoon allspice
5 cinnamon sticks
2 ounces of your favorite bourbon
4 limes
1 ½ ounces unsweetened cranberry juice
1 ounce spiced hot hone syrup
2 ounces ginger beer or ginger ale
candied ginger - optional for garnish
In a small pot, add ½ cup water, 1 cup hot honey, ½ teaspoon allspice, and 5 cinnamon sticks.
Stir until the honey is melted. Heat for about 5 minutes, then set aside and let cool.
Strain the cooled syrup to remove the cinnamon sticks and any spice clumps.
Slice 4 limes in half - cutting a few thin slices for the rim - and squeeze out the juice.
Fill a shaker with ice and add 2 ounces of your favorite bourbons, 1 ½ ounces of unsweetened cranberry juice, ½ ounce fresh-squeezed lime juice, and 1 ounce spiced hot honey syrup.
Shake well to combine.
Pour the mixture into a mule mug over ice. Top with 2 ounces of ginger beer or ginger ale, and garnish with lime slices and ginger. Enjoy!
Serving & Variations
Garnish with fresh cranberries or a cinnamon stick for extra festivity.
Add more syrup for a sweeter cocktail.
Top with extra ginger beer (or ginger ale) for a lighter, more refreshing version.
Swap the bourbon for vodka if you prefer something closer to a classic mule.
