If you’re looking for a side dish that looks fancy but comes together with almost no effort, these Roasted Rosemary Honey Glazed Carrots are it. They’re the kind of dish that makes people think you spent way more time in the kitchen than you actually did. (We won’t tell.) It’s sure to hold its own at Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any “I should probably bring a side dish” gathering.
This recipe also highlights a handful of our favorite staple ingredients from Roark Acres Honey House and General Store; a perfect way to “bee” adventurous in the kitchen while supporting makers we love.
3/4 cup Braum’s butter
5 tablespoons Roark Acres Rosemary Infused Honey
1 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Festival Garlic Granules
Redmond Real Salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
15 carrots (about 2 pounds), peeled and halved lengthwise. Tip: Rainbow carrots make for a beautiful presentation if available near you.
Chili flakes (optional, for a touch of heat)
Preheat your oven to 400º.
Peel and slice carrots in half, lengthwise.
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the Rosemary Infused Honey and garlic granules, then season with Redmond Real Salt, freshly cracked black pepper, and chili flakes if desired for heat.
Spread your peeled and halved carrots onto a baking sheet. Using a silicone brush, cover all carrots in the glaze. Pour the remaining glaze over the top until every carrot is shiny and well coated.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and lightly browned.
Sprinkle chili flakes over the top if you like a little extra buzz.
These carrots pair beautifully with roasted chicken, grilled pork, holiday ham, or steak. They also reheat wonderfully in a toaster oven or air fryer.
